In English, adverbs are words that modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs, providing information about how, when, where, or to what extent an action is performed or a quality is described. However, they can be, and often are, used to modify an adjective and a following it noun.

This can be describe as: "adverb + adjective + noun" pattern. In the pattern the adverb modifies the adjective, which in turn describes the noun. This structure allows for the addition of nuance or emphasis to the description of the noun.

Examples

Here are some sentences that employ adverb + adjective + noun pattern:

Emily is a remarkably talented musician.

Frank wrote at least three exceptionally good novels.

These tiny South American fish feature unbelievably vibrant colours.
