Describing purpose of action with for preposition

Pattern

The for preposition can be used to describe, a purpose of an action one takes.

A pattern is verb + for preposition + noun. The verb in the pattern gives the action, while the noun in it indicates the purpose of the action. In this pattern the noun can be preceded by a preposition, an adjective or both of them.
